My role involved working with the sales and marketing departments to create promotional material on behalf of the company and advertising campaigns for predominantly local businesses. It also involved a high level of understanding and flexibility, as i was dealing with many different types of people and businesses on a day to day basis.
I worked on pc - as this was company policy (i am also highly proficient on a mac) and use adobe indesign, quark xpress, adobe photoshop, illustrator and acrobat as well as macromedia dreamweaver and flash.
I gained a number of awards during my time at CDM, including best entertainment & leisure award at the Newspaper Society Awards 2001, 3 Northcliffe 'Oscar' awards over my last 3 years with the company and a nomination for northcliffe designer of the year in 2003.
